O’s Notes: Ken Peplowski breathes magic into his clarinet and tenor sax that soothes the listener on Maybe September, a collection of warm ballads, swing and even a few burners. There is a lot of variety here with a generous dose of heartbreakers full of passion. Bassist Martin Wind, pianist Ted Rosenthal and drummer Matt Wilson join him in a close-miked set that is enjoyable listening all the way through!
