O’s Notes: The 72-year-old composer and musician Clare Fischer is typically associated with jazz. He also has written for a number of pop artists. But After The Rain is a decidedly classical performance. Clare composed and orchestrated the session with a fine orchestra. Whatever your musical preference, we can say that this set is rich, relaxing and easily appreciated, so much so that we listened end to end and then repeated it!
