O’s Notes: Pianist Bob Albanese leads a trio with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Willard Dyson. Time Remembered is an exercise in bringing good memories into the present stimulated by a collection of standards and originals. They play modern jazz, a little blues and swing. David Meade adds percussion on “Furmina”, a lengthy composition about his pet beagle. This music is personalized but it is accessible and enjoyable from the spirited “Herbie Lix” to the warm ballads like “Pensativa”.
