O’s Notes: Carlos del Junco plays harmonica, sings and leads a trio with guitarist Eric St. Laurent and bassist Henry Heillig. There’s a touch of country twang threaded throughout the ten songs of“Hang On“and a wealth of good stories that speak of good blues. Carlos’s harmonica gives it that country feel along with Eric’s fleeting guitar work. It’s a sound that grew on us. We especially enjoyed “The Rain Horse” and the sweet harmonies on “Jersey Girl” including vocalist Jimmy Bowskill.
