O’s Notes: Saxophonist Dayna Stephens focuses on the Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) for Pluto Juice, extracting unique sound profile with Andrew Marzotto (g), Anthony Fung (d) and Rich Brown (b). This is a relaxed set with lots of peaceful passages as on “Outskirts of Neptune”. We also enjoyed “Trail on Mars” and “Approaching Pluto” in Dayna’s planetary adventure.
