O’s Notes: Tenor saxophonist Chris Potter teams up with Brad Mehldau (p), John Patitucci (b), and Brian Blade (d) forming an all-star quartet for Eagle’s Point. They open with the engaging “Dream of Home”, swing hard on the title track, then relax on “Other Plans”, and the mysterious “Malaga Moon”. It’s a pleasant set of modern jazz. This a quartet that we hope to see more of!
