O’s Notes: The Nightcrawlers are a seasoned combo featuring Chris Gestrin on the B3, Jesse Cahill on drums, guitarist Dave Sikula, and Cory Weeds on tenor sax. Get Ready is their fifth Cellar Live release and they have the bacon sizzling! The venue is Frankie’s Jazz Club in Vancouver, a can’t miss spot. Guests Nick Hampton (a-sax) and Jack Duncan (perc) fall right into the groove, and they are steaming on the opening title track before simmering on “Tin Tin Deo”, swinging on “Meat Wave”.
