O’s Notes: Ricky Alexander plays soprano sax and clarinet on this 1920s throwback, Just Found Joy. We enjoyed the cat and mouse engagement between Jon-Erik Kellso (t) and Alexander on “People Will Say We’re In Love”, “High Society” and “The Touch Of Your Lips”. Other highlights include the harmonized vocals on “Sweet Lorraine” and several other vocal selections featuring Vanisha Gould, notably “Fine and Dandy”.
