O’s Notes: Brazilian trombonist, composer, producer Felipe Brito leads a quintet for his debut album, Don’t Put Off Until Tomorrow. He plays with Rafael Ferreira (sax), Fabio Leandro (p), Jackson Silva (b), and Rodrigo “Diago” Braz (d). Leandro takes adds a cool solo on “Chiquita Hermosa”, and Silva injects strong solos into “Aos Amigo Da Vida” and “Pegada” adding variety to Brito’s lead lines over the six selections.
