O’s Notes: Jazz saxophonist David Borgo leads a quartet with Josh Nelson (p), Luca Alemanno (b), and Dan Schnelle (d) for his latest album. Panta Rhei is true to its title meaning, everything flows. We liked the swinging “Mid Evil” featuring solos from Borgo and Nelson, “Flow”, “Paro”, the Latin tinged “Malaga”, and the title track in this energetic set of Borgo originals.
