O’s Notes: Robin brings forth a varied contemporary approach on Get 2 It. He opens with two syncopated funky numbers before reverting to 1970’s fusion highlighted by his electric trombone with wah-wah effects. The remaining tracks have a grooving neo-bop feel. His brothers Duane (t) and Kevin (g) make guest appearances on a nice set.
