O’s Notes: Christine’s voice is full, spirited, gallant and fresh. Her approach is out front and confident with stage presence. She can stand alone or with the band. In this case there’s an orchestra behind her complementing the mood and keeping things bouncing along the way. The arrangements accentuate her strengths for the debut recording, eleven classics like “Smile” and “Desafinado”. Fawson even surprises us with a trumpet solo on “A Kiss To Build A Dream On”. It is pleasurable listening experience that leaves us wanting an encore.
