O’s Notes: This session was recorded just a few days after the tragic 9/11 in New York. While the musician were in shock with the rest of the nation, the band came together to translate the true feeling of Faulk’s compositions. They swing hard throughout the set, especially on the blues based “Hopscotch” and our favorite, “Brotherly Love” with a slight R&B twist. The best news is that we’re just chipping the iceberg off of Dan’s songbook. Bring on Volume 2!
