O’s Notes: Warm well-articulated vocals on top of funky beats make the opener inviting. “Color of Love” follows with a jazzy blues feel. Reed’s lyrics are clear and pleasant, a gift not drowned in the music. She touches R&B with some slick harmonizing on “The Voice Inside”, a sure hit. That groove continues on “Lonely”. Producer Jason Miles (keyboards) collaborates on much of the material taking the music from jazz to pop but always placing Cassandra up front where she’s poised to challenge more established contemporary and pop divas.
