O’s Notes: Alan puts together ten romantic smooth jazz songs. The guest lineup is impressive with sax players Euge Groove, Mindi Abair, Gerald Spikes and Michael Lington. But lest you think this is just another sax attack: Jonathan Butler (g, vocals) takes the lead on “Sweet Thing”, Shea Chambers sings “Inside My Dreams” and John Defaria (g) shines on “Blue Sky”. Alan (keys) put it all together for a varied session. It’s easy listening.
