O’s Notes: Open your mind and ears to some exciting vocal jazz with Slammin’. This acapella band was born in 2002 and is on the rise. The important point is that there are no instruments and very little dubbing. It is amazing what the human voice can do. They play jazz, blues, gospel and R&B and get it done right even adding a little humor along the way. Highlights are “Overjoyed”, “Can’t Get It Right”, “What Is Hip” and “All Blues”.
