O’s Notes: Drummer Bill Bruford and his buddy sax man Tim Garland brought some of the best of the Earthworks music to New York. Here they combine with some of the best musicians to make the Underground Orchestra. They are swinging on “Footloose” with a passion that carries through the entire set. There is also some subtle calypso on “Up North”. But there’s a lot more to like here!
