O’s Notes: Glenn’s (d) quartet includes Larry Porter (p), Dallas Coffey (b) and Dave Sterner (sax). They start off strong swinging with “The Happy People”. The groove is tight and it continues throughout the set. Glenn is from Cleveland as are the band members. They are all veterans who play with confidence helping the music to flow easily. Davis wrote all of the tunes giving us a much appreciated fresh perspective.
