O’s Notes: Nancy blends a couple of originals in with eight standards. Her arrangements are unique giving the program a fresh feeling. We liked her scatting on “Dearly Beloved” and “Alone Together” along with the relaxed pace of “Crazy He Calls Me”. Jay Anderson opens with a cool bass solo on “Alone Together”. We also liked the finale, “If I Should Lose You” which capped a balanced session.
