O’s Notes: Daryl sings fourteen of the best compositions of Richard Rogers. Her voice is delicate but full and her approach gentle like on “Ten Minutes Ago” and “You Are Too Beautiful”. Sherman also tickles the ivory keeping the pace moving along nicely. Joe Cohn (g) and Boots Maleson (b) do a nice job in the core band while guest artists Ruby Braff (cornet), Houston Person (sax) and Bob Dorough (v) add spice to the mix.
