O’s Notes: Leon sings cool breezes into a sticky summer night. A Kiss In The Sand has all of the Caribbean warmth suggested by the title. Check out “Night In Brazil” and “Straight To My Soul” to capture the essence of the set. The musicians provide tight support anchored by Victor Bailey on bass. Ware’s voice is a gentle, foggy baritone with hints of Marvin Gaye. The music is more than romantic. It is mesmerizing!
