O’s Notes: The late jazz pianist Jaki Byard (6/15/22 Ð 2/11/99) was one of the most gifted musicians of all time. He dashed across the keys effortlessly playing whatever mood he imagined. This is the second volume of live sessions recorded at San Francisco’s Keystone Korner. Byard performs alone allowing the full splendor of his mastery to shine through. It is a worthy follow-up to 2007 release Sunshine of My Soul.
