O’s Notes: A Mind In Motion is the debut album for Chinese composer, guitarist Zeju Zheng. The New York based artist leads a quartet with Arnie Sainz (p), Drew Gress (b), and Chidiebere Emmanuel (d). The six original songs reflect his impressions and growth at the dawn of his journey in the big apple. Highlights are “53”, “Simple”, the relaxing “Little Song”, and “At The Corner”. Zheng is off to a great start and shows great promise.
