O’s Notes: The tones are warm and the sentiment easily felt on each of these 14 solo piano tunes. Mitchell composed all of them and expresses his feelings well. The titles provide a good indication of the content. There is a subtle feeling, as if you were strolling on a reflective journey through the country on “Trip To Heaven”. The notes continue to resonate, as if in a church on the rest of the program. We found it easy to dream, to meditate and be peaceful when listening to A Thousand Days.
