O’s Notes: Livio plays tenor sax leading a quintet with Victor Gonalves (p), Eduardo Belo (b), Zach O’Farrill (d) and featured guest Adam O’Farrill (t). They blend strong techniques with a nice dose of passion that is atypical of their youth. There are seven selections and all of them are good with “Action and Reaction” among the best. A proud Arturo O’Farrill produced the effort pushing these young lions in the right direction. We hope to hear more from them.
