O’s Notes: Keyboardist Vasil Hadzimanov leads a contemporary jazz band featuring saxophonist David Binney. They play fusion-laced R&B+Jazz with influences from the mid-east, Aftica and the USA. They waste no time getting busy opening with an 11+ minute explosion of “Nocturnal Joy”. Alive“is a live recording from their Serbian tour, October 2014. They kept the crowd engaged and the flame continues to burn on the album with “Dolazim”, “Tovirafro”, Otkrice Snova” and the relaxed tempo of “Zulu”.
