O’s Notes: Chelsea has a light youthful voice. She loves singing and her enthusiasm comes through in the music. The accompanying musicians are strong. Vance Villastrigo tickles the ivory on “Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby”. Andy Farber (sax) shines on the opener, special guest Warren Vaché (cornet) adds sizzle on “Fine & Mellow” and guitarist James Chirillo stands tall on “La Vie En Rose”. But Palermo is the star on All About Love singing, scatting and soaring on “My Funny Valentine” one of the best tracks.
