O’s Notes: Tim’s (sax) music is a sort of neobop-fusion. He plays a very melodic sax on top of open, harmonic rhythms. There are many odd time signatures but all are handled well by the talented rhythm section; Ray Drummond (d), John Patitucci (b) and Larry Goldings (keyboards).
