O’s Notes: Mose is a heck of a storyteller, pianist and epic living legend. He sings great lyrics on “Certified Senior Citizen”, just one example of many over nineteen tracks over 54 minutes in a live set at 19 Broadway in Fairfax, California October, 2006. Bill Douglass plays bass with Pete Magadini on drums providing a solid foundation for Allison to recite his works. Mississippi borne a LSU educated, the 88-year-old masters still kicking up a lot of dust. Mose is not a crooner but is masterful in creating and professing his music.
