O’s Notes: Guitarist John Stein is Among Friends with vocalist Fay Whitaker and Chris White on cello. Stein performed with White in Vermont early in his career before moving to Boston where he performed with Whitaker in many cafe duo sets. They came together as friends for this recording, and it works for much more than a jam session. Some of the bests are “Prelude to a Kiss”, “Since I Fell For You”, “Summertime” and “Switch-A-Roo”.
