O’s Notes: This is a small sampler from Warner Jazz with six new and or previously unreleased tracks. It’s a mixed bag including some acid jazz from Robert Randolph, fusion from Pat Metheny and Christian McBride and an updated version of Joshua Redmond’s Wish. We thick the best of the lot comes from Nicholas Payton with “I’m Trying To Swing As Little As Possible”. It’s a strong hint of what coming from WB.
