O’s Notes: Drummer Christian Finger is a global citizen born in Germany then living in The Netherlands, Austria and the USA. He has traveled to 18 countries and reflects all of his transatlantic experiences in Ananda, his third CD. He invites many talented musicians to join him including Dave Stryker (g), Pete McCann (g) and the Mivas String Quartet. The latter impart unique characteristics to his original jazz-fusion compositions. “For Now”, “African Skies” and “Secret Procession Parts I & II” are highlights. The results are good establishing a platform for Finger to build on.
