O’s Notes: And Every Fleck Of Russet is a solo effort by Bob Gluck performing, engineering, composing, and producing his compositions over the last few years. He plays piano mostly but extends the palate with electronic drums, synthesizers, and sampling as on “24th of December”. His music is introspective with expansive improvisation. We enjoyed his work on “Enmeshed” with a classical foundation and dynamic expression. We also liked the spiritual feel of “Chorale”. Gluck concludes the session with “For Now”, an abstract, psychedelic, piece.
