O’s Notes: Guitarist Spiliotopoulos forms a core trio with Asafetida Sirkis (d) and Yaron Stavi (b) to perform eight original compositions. The music is a laid back jazz-fusion that allows Tassos to fully express himself. From this we’d guess he is a pretty laid back guy! It is a decent effort highlighted by “Out And About” and “Cosmic Motion” featuring Kenny Wheeler on trumpet. We also liked the syncopated bop of “Stepping Stones”, a cool closer.
