O’s Notes: Ann is on a mission to spread love around the world where today we are overly stressed and troubled. Her voice is simply glorious and her song selection takes her closer to realizing her goal. Among the best are “Finding Beauty”, “Lazy Afternoon” and “Spain”. Her band includes guitarist Rodney Jones, Mads Tolling (violin), Marvin Stamm (flugelhorn), Wycliff Gordon (tb), Jay Leonhart (b), Ted Rosenthal (p) and Victor Lewis (d).
