O’s Notes: Jan is singing in front of Terri Lynn Carrington (d), John Repucci (b), Tim Ray (p) and John Baboian (g). They swing through eight classics highlighted by “Our Love Is Here To Stay” with a cool solo from Repucci, “Don’t Be That Way” (featuring Baboian), and “Sister Sadie”. Carrington is more than just a timekeeper and added an energetic solo on “S’Wonderdful”. Shapiro has a slight nasal character that helps define her signature. She sounds good out in front with a pleasing palate that sooths the listener.
