O’s Notes: Michael Pedicin has a warm inviting voice on tenor saxophone that is perfectly suited for these seven ballads. The program is a blend of tried and true standards with two songs written by guitarist John Valentino and one Pedicin original. Dean Schneider provides an excellent solo on “Virgo” but Pedicin is the star of this outing. The combinations are soothing and an excellent choice for background music.
