O’s Notes: This CD was released in 2005 with Barbara singing in front of a swinging band including pianist Dan Gaynor, Bobby Torres (perc), Scott Steed (b) and Reinhardt Melz (d). Lusch teases us with seductive tones over a dozen classics. We liked “Ain’t Doin’ Bad Doin’ Nothin'”, the Latin beats of “Light My Fire” and “Nature Boy” best. You’ve heard all of the tunes and they seem to have a renewed freshness with her gentle touch.
