O’s Notes: Guitarist Arsenault leads his band to perform ten new originals. Larry Bjornson (b), David Burton (d) and Paul Simons (keyboards) are the band. They play as a quartet or a trio (minus keys) for four selections. They play a mellow, controlled fusion. Bjornson leads the charge on “Lucky Seven” as they open up a bit. Shan burns on “Whether or Not” and “Just Sayin’ Zoll” displaying his guitar prowess. We preferred his fluid approach on “Melted Ice Cream” and “The Truce”. It’s a guitar player’s pleasure.
