O’s Notes: Cymin Samawatie sings and scats beautifully in front of a tight band. Ketan Bhatti (d, perc) and Ralf Schwarz (b) maintain syncopated funky beats with Benedict Janhnel (p) adding the rhythm. Frank Mobus plays guitar on two tracks as well. They relax the tempo on the title track, a beautiful song. It gets a bit spacey on “Sia”, one of the more eclectic pieces. Among the best are “Meloton” and “Gofteguje Man” featuring Cymin’s vocals. We also liked “Sard”, an instrumental.
