O’s Notes: Harpist, composer Isabelle Olivier delivers a performance that blends classical and jazz genres in a relaxing format. She’s joined by her sons Tom Olivier-Beuf (p, accordion) & Raphaël Olivier (electronics), a string quartet, and Baptiste Thiebault (d). They play sixteen fresh selections with gentle, free improvisations. Our favorite is “Tango”, and we also enjoyed “La Gare”, “Bike”, and the title track. Impressions is an intriguing endeavor that soothes the soul.
