O’s Notes: Bud and Bill are alone playing sax and piano but the music is as fulfilling as a large ensemble. They’re swinging and having a ball with the exchanges on “Red Door” and then settle down on “Quietly”, a Bill Mays tune. There’s a balance of fast and slow songs, mostly covers but also a few originals notably Bud and Linda Shank’s “Carousels”. We also liked the romance of “Everything I Love”. This is good relaxing and listening music.
