O’s Notes: Never Weather is a quintet led by drummer, arranger and composer, Dillon Vado. He enlists support from Justin Rock (g), Aaron Wolf (sax), Josh D. Reed (t) and Tyler Harlow (b). They are independent voices that come together for Blissonance, their debut recording. It is a mild jazz-fusion recording with occasional doses of free jazz and light rock. It can be enjoyed in an engaged listening session or as background music. We tried the later on a walk through the woods and were drawn in by several selections notably on “Mask” and “Bring Back The Color”.
