O’s Notes: Sutton continues to carve out her space on the west coast jazz scene. It won’t take long with strong efforts like this one. Her quartet, including pianist Christian Jacob, works well together. The program is a combination of Evans tunes and classics. They swing nicely with excellent harmony and true intonation in Tierney’s voice.
