O’s Notes: This is hard charging rock ’n blues led by Savoy Brown, the band. Ken Simmons (g) leads a band that plays both British Blues and Chicago Blues. They became popular in the mid-1960s playing British pubs and then expanded to one to the world’s best live blues acts. While many of the players changed, the sound remains strong. We even liked their bluesy version of the Temptations “Can’t Get Next To You”.
