O’s Notes: This is swinging cooking blues, a nice combination of blues and jazz that they call blazz! We call it a winner! Guitarist Tom Lavin also leads all of the vocals and he keeps things upbeat pleasant and popping. The eleven tunes are a combination of Lavin’s originals like “Let’s Get Loose” and classics like “Runnin’ Blue” and “Take the ‘A’ Train”. We used it as a backdrop to workout and it kept us moving. We also found the lyrics and the music to be very engaging and fun.
