O’s Notes: Listen to his harmonica, and the melodic phrasing that is almost like a voice and you will feel the moods that he’s trying to express. For evidence listen to “Plain Old (Down Home) Blues” with it’s funky Cajun beat, “Let’s Mambo” and the country blues of “Don’t Bring Me Down” with Kevin Breit’s twangy guitar. We like to unwind with the bubbly spirits of “No Particular Place” and “Long Highway”. It is all good stuff!
