O’s Notes: Michelle sings ten popular standards in front of an energetic ensemble centered on Art Fristoe (p) and Tim Ruiz (b) with drum duty split between Jerry Jackson and Richard Cholakian. Guitarist Brennen Nash does fine work on the first four selections while Greg Petito picks up on songs 6 through 9. Shelly Carrol stands out on sax and flute on “Key Largo” and “I’ve Got It Bad” respectively. Bradley’s voice has stage-like presence but it’s the music that makes“Body and Soul“sizzle.
