O’s Notes: Guitarist David teams up with John Boswell (p), M. B. Gordy III (perc), Tim McIntyre (d) and Dean Taba (b) for an expressive set of mild fusion tunes. David’s tone is soft and muted but rich and full bodied. The ten songs are relaxed and engaging, easy to embrace. From the relaxed beats of “Take Me Away” to the subtle funk of “Looking Forward” and the cool passion of the title track, we found this to be a very good set.
