O’s Notes: Bassist Daniel Fortin leads a quartet with vibraphonist Michael Davidson, David French on sax and drummer Fabio Ragnelli. They perform ten of Fortin’s original compositions. The mood is tilted toward blue and there is a fair amount of free improvisation. “Flecks” and “But Still And Yet” are among the best.
